Luz Adriana López was crowned Miss Earth Colombia 2023 at the national competition held on Saturday, 29th April 2023 at Centro de Convenciones Las Camelias in Montenegro, Quindío. Luz will now represent Colombia at Miss Earth 2023.

Luz Adriana López Ayala bested 10 other contestants to be crowned the new queen. She represented Caquetá at the finale. Luz is 26 years of age and an environmental engineer by profession. Luz was definitely a strong contender for the national crown ever since the beginning of the competition.

Also at the finale, Marelis Salas Julio of Bolivar was adjudged as Miss Earth Water 2023 and was designated Miss Intercontinental Colombia 2023. She will be representing Colombia in Miss Intercontinental 2023.

Along with that, Stephany Silva of Cauca was adjudged as Miss Earth Air 2023 and was designated Miss Eco Colombia 2023. She will be representing Colombia at Miss Eco International 2023.

The third runner-up was Juliana Aristizábal of Quindío who was adjudged Miss Earth Fire 2023 and designated Miss Environment Colombia 2023. She is expected to compete in Miss Environment International 2023.

Miss Earth Colombia 2022 Andrea Aguilera crowned Luz Adriana López as her successor at the end of the event finale. Andrea represented Colombia at Miss Earth 2022 and was awarded Miss Earth Fire 2022 title at the finals in the Philippines last November. Colombia has not won Miss Earth crown since its debut in 2001.
