Nuestra Belleza Nacional Cuba (NBNC), through their official social media, announced the designation of Aleida Josefa Perez as the official titleholder of Miss Earth Cuba 2023 who will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Earth 2023. She succeeds Miss Earth Cuba 2022 Sheyla Ravelo.

Aleida is 22 years of age and holds a double major in political science and international studies from University of Florida. Aleida is currently working as a certified paralegal specializing in business immigration.

Miss Earth organization also announced her representation on their official social media handle as they wrote, “Aleida Josefa Perez was crowned #MissEarth Cuba 2023. She is the founder of her own non-profit organization “Hearts in Mind”, advocating to ensure every child can receive quality education. Aleida has a double major in Political Science and International Studies.”

With her non-profit ‘Hearts in Mind’, Aleida presses focus on education inequality within the communities that are less privileged. The stunning beauty has also worked with other organizations to work for providing food, empowering mothers and influencing children’s education.

Aleida will now prepare to compete at Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of the international pageant that will take place on 22nd December 2023 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
