Sara Langtved was crowned Miss Earth Denmark 2019 by the Miss Danmark Organization just hours ago as she became the official representative of Denmark in Miss Earth 2019. She battled her way through more than 25 delegates and was finally crowned by her predecessor Kamilla Bang who was Miss Earth Denmark 2018.
Having won Miss Congeniality 2019 at Miss Universe Denmark 2019, Sara proved her worth in the competition by placing in the Top 10 as well. The stunning beauty is a fitness fanatic, an avid dog lover and a travel enthusiast, especially to beaches. This 162 cm tall and beautiful diva promised to uphold her duties and responsibilities as a crown bearer and talked about her advocacy that involves around the use of plastic in the world.
Sara gave out a three pointer plan that would help promote ecotourism climate change. Her awareness and concern for the environment left everyone in awe as she proudly kept praising her country and how she dreams of making the world a better place. Sara Langtved is someone who deserves the crown as she has the ability to bring about a change.
Sara is a 24-year-old business student who hails from Copenhagen. She has always had a very different yet optimistic perspective towards life. She learned how to respect and understand diversity in human beings and never let anyone take her or her family for granted. Her empathy towards special kids drove her to working as a caretaker for disabled children for three years and it was one of the most fulfilling jobs she has ever done. She even hosted a charity event for a girl with Down syndrome and said, “I am really looking forward to meeting her and her family. This is extremely close to my heart as I have grown up with a brother who has the same disability and I have experienced it throughout my entire life.”
Denmark won its first Miss Earth crown in the year 2001, the year of its inception. Denmark is yet to bring the international crown home after that and we deem Sara Langtved as capable of doing so. The kind of grace, confidence and force she brings to the table is unmatched. Her motto in life is “You are your own hero and you can achieve anything, if you believe in yourself.”
