During the grand coronation of Miss Earth England 2018, held on 26th August 2018, Abbey-Anne Gyles-Brown was crowned as the new queen. She will now be representing England at Miss Earth 2018 to be held on 3rd November 2018 in Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Philippines. Abbey succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth England 2017 Charlotte Brooke, and is now the 12th winner of Miss Earth England.

Abbey performed exceptionally well at the grand finale where she won the Most Photogenic 2018 Award. She also was the winner of Beauties for a Cause UK Eco Ambassador Award at Miss Earth England 2018 for her dedicated and remarkable work in promoting environmental and animal protection in the UK.

Other awards handed out at Miss Earth England 2018 are Miss Congeniality Award - Josie Moran, Best In Runway Award - Gemma Gordon, Most Photogenic 2018 - Abbey Anne Gyles. Claire Michalski and Hannah Panchal were the runners-up of Beauties For A Cause UK Eco Ambassador Award. Best in Interview Award was taken by Amisha Patel.

Abbey is certainly a competitor to look out for as she has a lot of experience in the pageant world. She has won and participated in numerous pageants like she was Teen World Supermodel England 2013, then she won the title of Miss Northampton 2014; she was Miss Teen Earth UK 2014 and was a winner the Face of the World England 2018 after which she became the runner-up at Face Of The World Internationals 2017; and finally she completed her duties as Miss Earth UK Fire 2016.

Abbey works as a sales adviser at River Island and she is 20 years of age. She is from the city of Northampton. Abbey has also worked as a hostess at Leicester City Football Club. She was a student at the Northampton College, Booth Lane where she studied Performing Arts. She is bilingual, being proficient in English and Welsh languages.

England is yet to make a mark at Miss Earth 2018, and Abbey definitely is a very deserving a reliable candidate to be representing England at such a prestigious event. Added to it, she can use her experience from the prior participation in different beauty pageants to her advantage and bring the crown home.
