In an official announcement that came in a few hours ago, Miss Earth Guyana 2018 released its details about the finale night which will be held at Aracari Hotel and Resort on 10th March 2018 at 6:30 PM.

“Miss Earth Guyana is an annual national pageant to determine a representative of Guyana for the international pageant, Miss Earth, an environmental themed beauty pageant that promotes environmental awareness.” - official Facebook of Miss Earth Guyana.

The last Miss Earth Guyana pageant was held in 2010 when Soyini Fraser was crowned as queen but a representative was sent up for the international pageant as recent as 2014.

Stacy Ramcharran took the crown back then, but after the franchise was lost one year later, it was not possible to choose another girl. As such she remains the reigning Miss Earth Guyana until the grand coronation of Miss Earth Guyana 2018.

Akisha Payne from East Coast of Demerara, 25-years-old
