The last contestant to perform was Xamiera Kippins who finished this category with her dance to ‘This Bitter Earth’, happily surprising everyone with her talent.

For the costume category, each contestant was expected to come up with their own superhero, whose purpose would also resonate with that of Miss Earth.

The first contestant Gabriella was ‘Iridescence’, the hero who is said to exude love, class, sophistication, firm principles, confidence and power and whose purpose is to protect the minerals of Guyana. Contestant number two Anasa became Queen Amazonia Kaieteura. Oriana was Guardian of the Earth. The fourth contestant Luann made her way onstage as Opallios, the element warrior. Akisha became Guardian of Ouora, wearing a costume complete with a shield, mask and spear. Anita Baker was Mother Gaia, the earth goddess. Xamiera turned up as the Empress of the Rupununi.

The Miss Earth Guyana committee will announce the results on 1st May 2018. The Coronation night, which was scheduled for the same evening, has been postponed to June in deference to the upcoming Guyana Carnival. A specific date, time and venue will be announced later.
