The organization of Miss Earth Indonesia will be hosting the grand finale night for Miss Earth Indonesia 2020 soon where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national title and an opportunity to represent Indonesia at the virtual Miss Earth 2020 stage. The winner will succeed Miss Earth 2019 Cinthia Kusuma Rani for the title.
With a list of potential candidates being prepared and conducting virtual auditions for the candidates, Saira Saima has caught our attention as she seems like a potential candidate who can represent Indonesia at Miss Earth 2020 stage. Saira has uploaded a video of her on her social media account in which she has given a brief introduction about why she is an ideal choice.
Saira is a Psychology Enthusiast and has explained that she would love to use the platform of Miss Earth Indonesia 2020 to advocate the young generation about loving and taking care of mother earth. She added that sure it is a crucial thing to do but it needs the utmost attention and action now more than ever. By doing small things like recycling, use shopping bags and planting trees, it could have a bigger impact for the future, because big things come from small steps. "Make Everyday Earth Day.”
The diva has had some experience in field of modeling as she has walked on-stage for few renowned designers and brands in Indonesia which has helped her to gain experience and knowledge about beauty pageants. The diva has understood that a beauty pageant gives a platform which the diva can use to make a positive impact in the society and advocate about her personal advocacy. In her video she has explained about how individuals litter the mother earth with plastic that takes about 100 years to decompose and while it takes its own time to decompose, we as a society can use the time to make healthy and environmental friendly choices. She explained that young generation needs to be taught about why it is necessary to take measures and steps for the environment.
Saira also advocates about women empowerment as she stated that even though the world’s perception towards woman is changing, it is not easy for them to survive and one has to always to fight for their rights and should never take it for granted. She added that everyone should respect all the women in this world who had fight and are fighting for feminism. She lastly added, “Women also has their choice to be a mother, a career woman, a fighter, an athlete, a fire fighter, a pilot, and anything that they want, same as man. And I do believe, women need to always be financially independent regardless we use it or not. We never know what could happen, so we can stand on our feet confidently and able to depend on oneself.”
The diva has started to prepare herself for the finale event and hopes to get selected by the organization. She is focusing on learning about the current affairs in the world for the communication and interview round at the competition which she believes is one of the essential rounds at the competition. She is also training for her walk-on stage, posing on stage, body angles, body postures, and maintaining her mental space and confidence on-stage. The diva is also giving her health utmost attention and working out every day to maintain healthy and fit body.
