Miss Earth Japan 2017 finale date revealed

Miss Earth Japan is a national beauty pageant and it is back again with a bang this year, scheduled to be held on 30th July 2017. The winner will represent Japan at Miss Earth 2017 pageant to be held later this year in the Philippines.

There are total 14 candidates vying for the coveted title of Miss Earth Japan 2017. All the candidates are geared up to represent their respective states at the pageant. Miss Earth Japan 2016 Ami Hachiya will pass on her crown and reign to her successor at the conclusion of the finale.

Japan was first represented in Miss Earth 2001 by Misuzu Hirayama, who was the first titleholder of Miss Earth Japan and won the Miss Friendship special award at the Miss Earth pageant. In 2010, Japan first entered both in the semifinal and final round of the Miss Earth pageant, where Marina Kishira finished in the top 7 and won the Best in National Costume award in Miss Earth 2010.
