Miss Earth Japan 2018 Date, Time and Venue Announced

Miss Earth Japan 2018, is underway as it is going to be held onJuly 23, 2018 at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo Orion in Tokyo, Japan. With a number of 25 candidates vying for the crown, as disclosed earlier on official website of Miss Earth Japan, only one will be fortunate enough to be crowned by Miss Earth Japan 2017 Yasuko Saito at the end of the event finale.

The audience is expected to be seated by 5:30 p.m. to enjoy the vibes of the contest. The Monday night will be concluded with an after party that will begin from 9 p.m. and will run its course for about an hour, that is, it will come to an end about 10 p.m. next to the convention venue area.

Miss Earth Japan, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is organized by IBG Japan (I Vesey Japan, Inc.) under its corporate name Miss Japan Institute of Earth General. The national director of the pageant is Osamu Sakata. The pageant was established in order to elect Japan's representative in the annual Miss Earth pageant, to further charity donations and philanthropic activities, and to promote environmental awareness and protection.

Japan was first represented in Miss Earth 2001 by Misuzu Hirayama, who was the first titleholder of Miss Earth Japan and won the Miss Friendship special award.

In 2010, Japan first entered both in the semifinal and final round of the Miss Earth pageant, where Marina Kishira finished in the top 7 and won the Best in National Costume award in Miss Earth 2010.

However, according to the official website of pageant, Miss Earth Japan is a beauty festival that produces opinion leaders aiming for "the world's most beautiful women", drawing a process of growth.

A program to elect representatives of Japan to participate in the Miss Earth World Tournament.

The creation of opinion leaders that serve as standards for women, which combines “intelligence, sensitivity, humanity, inner self-confidence”.

Establishing a female image that is highly conscious of global environmental issues and can be active in the “international stage”.
