The grand coronation night of Miss Nepal 2019 was held tonight with great hype and poise at Laboratory H.S. premises, Kirtipur, Nepal, where twenty-five scintillating Nepali beauties represented and created an essence of glamour all around. At the conclusion of the finale, Miss Earth Nepal 2018 Priya Sigdel relinquished her crown and handed it over to Riya Basnet as the new Miss Earth Nepal 2019. The newly crowned beauty not only took over the crown but also the opportunity to represent Nepal in Miss Earth 2019 pageant.
Riya is 22 years of age and hails from Kathmandu. She holds a degree of Bachelors of Business Administration from Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM). The diva is blessed with a good height of 170 cm and has past experience in ramp walk.
