The grand coronation night of Miss Nepal 2019, the 25th edition of Miss Nepal, was held tonight at Laboratory H.S. premises, Kirtipur, Nepal, where twenty-five gorgeous delegates competed for the national crown and added glamour to the evening. At the conclusion of the finale, Anushka Shrestha was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by her gorgeous predecessor and outgoing queen Miss World Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada, who completed her reign with a bang and handed over the crown tonight.
The beauty deservingly earned the title of Miss World Nepal 2019 and the privilege to represent Nepal in Miss World 2019 beauty pageant which will be held in Thailand on 7th December 2019. In an exclusive interview with Angelopedia prior to her crowning, when asked about in which international pageant she would like to represent Nepal, Anushka was very clear and her categorical choice was Miss World. Her response was “Miss World… As the beauty-with-a-purpose theme of this title is the one that resonates most closely to me.”
Anushka is a 23-year-old gleaming beauty who stands 167 cm tall and hails from Kathmandu. She is a commerce graduate, who worked at one of the biggest financial institutions in Australia - CBA (Commonwealth Bank of Australia). She graduated from the Australian Catholic University in Sydney with the Executive Dean’s commendation in 2017. This beauty enjoys public speaking, watching crime thrillers and television dramas.

Along with the crowning of Miss Nepal 2019/ Miss World Nepal 2019, other beauties were also handed over the various coveted titles and the right to represent Nepal in other reputed international pageants including Miss Universe, Miss Earth, and Miss International.

The finale night began with the introduction of the last year’s beauty queens and the panel of judges by the host Sanjay Gupta. The host did an absolutely commendable job and introduced the Top 14 semi-finalists on the stage who were selected from amongst the 25 competing candidates. Before announcing the Top 14 semi-finalists, all the 25 beauties walked on the stage wearing glittering attire which spread the glamour all around and the series of special awards were presented to the beauties.
The Top 14 comprised of Sophiya Bhujel, Rose Lama, Rakchya Upreti, Suveksha Adhikari, Nitika Sarah Karmacharya, Jenny Maharjan, Shiwani Ghimire, Pratha Adhikari, Anushka Shrestha, Pradeepta Adhikari, Nisha Pathak, Meera Kakshapati, Nancy Bogati and Riya Basnet.
After the announcement of the Top 14 delegates, the organization moved on to announce the Top 7 beauties which comprised of Anushka Shrestha, Rakchya Upreti, Rose Lama, Pradeepta Adhikari, Sophiya Bhujel, Riya Basnet and Meera Kakshapati.
