The grand coronation night of Miss Nepal 2019 was held tonight with a bang at Laboratory H.S. premises, Kirtipur, Nepal, where twenty-five gorgeous Nepali beauties competed to earn the privilege to represent Nepal in major international beauty pageants including Miss World and Miss Universe.
At the conclusion of the finale, Miss Universe Nepal 2018 Manita Devkota relinquished her crown and handed it over to Pradeepta Adhikari as the new Miss Universe Nepal 2019. Pradeepta will now be the third beauty queen to represent Nepal in Miss Universe ever since Nepal made its debut in the international pageant in 2017 with Nagma Shrestha. Last year, Manita had a successful stint at Miss Universe 2018 earning Top 10 placement in the finale. which sets the expectations high for the newly crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2019.
The newly crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2019 - Pradeepta Adhikari - was already one of the favourites since the beginning of the Miss Nepal 2019 pageant and she also won the Gold Star competition. She is 23 years of age, stands tall at 170 cm, hails from Kathmandu and currently resides there only. She is a sturdy diva whose confidence has landed her onto this platform today.
At the finale, Miss World Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada also passed on her crown and reign to the gorgeous Miss World Nepal 2019 Anushka Shrestha. Miss Earth Nepal 2018 Priya Sigdel also passed on her crown to Miss Earth Nepal 2019 Riya Basnet, Miss International Nepal 2019 Meera Kakshapati received her crown from predecessor Miss International Nepal 2018 Ronali Amatya, and Miss Supranational Nepal 2018 Mahima Singh passed on her crown to Miss Supranational Nepal 2019 Rose Lama.
