The grand finale of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 will be held on 8th September 2018 where 15 contestants will be competing for the national title. The winner will then go on to represent Nigeria at Miss Earth 2018 to be held later this year. The winner will be crowned by Miss Earth Nigeria 2017 Eucharia Akani.
But before the finale, Angelopedia has selected the Top 5 contestants, in no particular order, who are most likely to win the contest to represent Nigeria and join the ranks with other national representatives at Miss Earth 2018. Here are Angelopedia’s Top 5 favourite contestants –
Okpala Maristella
Okpala is one of the finalists of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 who is a dental technologist as well as a cabin crew. She is truly a very smart and intelligent person. She is also a model with a very fit body. Okpala is advocating for a safer and more sustainable environment by turning plastic wastes into assets.
Ebere Chidera
Ebere is one of the finalists of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 who was Miss Charity Ambassador Tourism 2016. She launched a charitable project in the service of disabled people and children in need of help, named Heal the World. Ebere wants to advocate for a healthier Nigeria and impact as many people in her life as possible.
Okolocha Grace
Okolocha is one of the finalists of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018. She loves to act and is particularly fond of travelling. Okolocha is advocating for the promotion of a healthier and safer environment for the standard living of all Nigerians. She can be seen socializing with her friends and family during her free time.
Esther Ogechi Gabriel
Esther is a finalist of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 who is advocating for girl education and the empowerment of women. Esther is fighting for equal opportunity for women in her country and wants all women to be at par with men. She is very passionate about politics of her country Nigeria.
Benneth Obianuju Gloria
Benneth is one of the finalists of Miss Earth Nigeria 2018 who is a strong promoter of a refuse-free environment through the recycling of all forms of discarded plastics and other types of waste materials. During her free time, Benneth loves to play the Kongo drums and her drum set. She is also a good cook and loves to talk to new people.

Nigeria is yet to win the title of Miss Earth. The closest the nation has come to winning was in the years 2007 and 2008 when Miss Earth Nigeria 2007 Stacey Garvey and Miss Earth Nigeria 2008 Uko Ezinne secured a place in the Top 16 in Miss Earth 2007 and Miss Earth 2008 respectively.
