Miss Earth Nigeria 2020 hosted its virtual grand finale on 15th August 2020 at 12pm (UTC +1) where Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze from Enugu State was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Nigeria in Miss Earth 2020. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Nigeria 2019 Susan Garland.

Gweniverse performed with absolute sincerity and dedication to win the national crown besting fourteen other delegates. She is a plant biotechnologist and an opera singer. At the preliminaries, she also won silver in the resort wear and talent competitions and gold in long gown competition. She advocated for recycling waste at the national contest. The stunning beauty was also a part of our top favourites for the crown.

The fifteen stunning beauties who began their journey at Miss Earth Nigeria 2020 were Kayla representing Lagos state, Lauretta representing Lagos state, Gwen representing Enugu state, Stella representing Lagos state, Efe representing Delta state, Chidiogo representing Anambra state, Catherine representing Rivers state, Tammy representing Cross River state, Mercy representing Rivers state, Cynthia representing Lagos state, Kelly representing Lagos state, Feyisayo representing Abuja state, Olajumoke representing Lagos state, Triona representing Akwa Ibom state and Adenike representing Kwara state.

Last year, Miss Earth Nigeria 2019 Susan Garland represented Nigeria at Miss Earth 2019 and with her stunning performance, she placed in the Top 10. Nigeria is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Earth pageant. Congratulations to the newly crowned queen!
