The Miss Balkana organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition where Angela Vasilevska was crowned as Miss Earth North Macedonia 2022 and will represent the country at the Miss Earth 2022 international pageant.

Angela is a model and social media influencer who stands at 180cm tall and has competed in a number of international pageants. She represented North Macedonia at the Miss Tourism International 2018 where she was titled Miss Friendship. Last year, she was also placed as first runner-up at the Miss EU competition. The diva will also be soon representing North Macedonia at the Miss Elite World 2022 pageant in Egypt.

Angela succeeds Miss Earth North Macedonia 2021 Ana Brzanova for the title who marked the comeback for the country at the Miss Earth 2021 pageant but unfortunately remained unplaced. North Macedonia is yet to win a Miss Earth crown.

This year, Angela will represent North Macedonia at the Miss Earth 2022 pageant. Miss Earth 2022, the 22nd edition of the international pageant, is all set to be held later this year where delegates from all over the world will compete for the coveted Earth crown. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner of Belize.

The Miss Earth pageant has been held virtually since 2020 due to the pandemic, making it the only Big5 pageant to do so. The actual pageant is hopefully set to take place this year, as limitations in the Philippines and throughout the world are being eased.
