The finale of Miss Mundo Paraguay 2016 was held on August 6’ 2016 in Encarnacion, Paraguay. At the conclusion of the pageant, Vanessa Ramírez was crowned as Miss Earth Paraguay 2016, and will now represent Paraguay at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

Vanessa Ramírez Miss Earth Paraguay 2016

The gorgeous beauty queen Vanessa now succeeds Andrea Melgarejo Miss Earth Paraguay 2015 who represented Paraguay at the Miss Earth 2015, wherein Angelia Ong from Philippines emerged as the winner. Vanessa clinched the crown after defeating seventeen other young women who battled it out for the title.

At the same pageant, Simone Freitag was crowned as the winner and was titled Miss World Paraguya 2016. Jessica Torres was adjudged first runner-up, Atenas Aranda was titled second runner-up, Camila Ayala was titled third runner-up, Sannie Méndez made it to the third runner-up and Dahiana Petta finished as fourth runner-up.

In addition to announcing the winners and the runners-up, a series of Special Awards were also awarded to the contestants under the following category –

Miss Photogenic - Sannie Méndez

Miss Friendship - Yannina Albertini

Miss Talent - Jessica Torres

 Miss Sports - Dahiana Petta

Miss Top Model - Simone Freitag

It was the very first edition of Miss World 2016 Paraguay after the organization decided to create separate events for the two most important competitions in the world - Miss Universe and Miss World. The scintillating ceremony was televised live by the Paraná TV.
