At the grand finale of Miss Earth, Peru 2018 held on 2nd September 2018 at Estudio Triax, Jr. Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jessica Russo was crowned the new queen. She will now be representing Peru at Miss Earth 2018 to be held on 3rd November 2018 in Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Philippines, where Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco will crown her successor.
Jessica Russo was crowned by Miss Earth Peru 2017 Karen Rojas from San Martín. She remained unplaced in Miss Earth 2017, but she did win a gold medal in the long gown section. Jessica is the reigning Miss Earth Lima – Air 2018. This 21-year-old also won the special award of Miss Elegance. Jessica seems like a confident young woman who knows how to present herself on stage.
