Shanel Malouda was crowned Miss Earth Réunion 2023 at the finale held on 8th October 2023 as she became the ambassador of beauty and environment. Malouda will now prepare to represent Reunion Island at Miss Earth 2023.

Shanel Malouda was a sight to behold at the national competition. Her commitment to the environmental cause and her determination to inspire others to follow this path make her an exemplary representative to compete at Miss Earth 2023.

Miss Earth-Fire Réunion 2023 – Maureen Murcy

Also at the finale, Wassila Gérard was awarded Best Talent Contest 2023.

Miss Earth Reunion organization took to their official social media as they congratulated the new winner and wrote, “She embodies a vision of beauty that goes beyond appearances, which translates into a deep responsibility to the Earth that homes us. As Miss Earth Reunion 2023, Shanel Malouda will proudly wear the colors of our island internationally at this year's Miss Earth competition in Vietnam.”

Miss Earth 2023, the 23rd edition of Miss Earth, is scheduled to be held in 2023 in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam where Miss Earth 2022 Mina Sue Choi of South Korea will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
