At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Miss Universe Thailand 2016, Atcharee Buakhiao was titled first runner-up and was crowned as Miss Earth Thailand 2016. Atcharee Buakhiao will now represent Thailand at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

Atcharee Buakhiao hailing from Chiang Mai is blessed with a beautiful face and amazingly prominent personality. The only drawback she might face during the pageant is during the interview round. As the Miss Earth beauty pageant gives a lot of leverage to the interview round. However, Thailand has had a decent performance at the Miss Earth pageant. The country might not have won a crown yet, but has managed to showcase a consistent performance throughout the year.
At the same event, Chalita Suansane was crowned as the winner. Chalia succeeds Miss Universe Thailand 2015 Aniporn Chalermburanawong and will now represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
