Danielle Dolabaille is the National Director of Miss Earth T&T

It’s the season of national pageants and all the countries are gearing up to select the best representative for the international pageants. The preparation of the nations is in full swing, and while many have shortlisted their representatives, Trinidad and Tobago has recently announced their new National Director for Miss Earth Trinidad and Tobago.

Danielle Dolabaille, Miss Earth Trinidad and Tobago 2015, is now the national director of Miss Earth Trinidad and Tobago. Danielle represented T&T at Miss Earth 2015 pageant. The Miss Earth Trinidad and Tobago is a beauty pageant has been held annually since 2011. It is responsible for selecting the country's representative to Miss Earth, which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness.

Danielle is not a newbie in beauty pageants, and has competed at Face of T&T 2013 pageant and Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe 2014. However, she didn’t win either of the pageants. It’s good to see that former Miss Earth delegates are continuing to serve the purpose in various ways.

Miss Earth is an annual Beauty Pageant which is aimed at promoting Environmental Awareness. Carousel Productions organized and launched the first Miss Earth beauty pageant in 2001 to actively promote the preservation of the environment. Miss Earth is part of one of the Big Four International Pageants.  Miss Earth is one of the most unique kinds of a beauty pageant which promotes the idea of ‘Beauty for a Cause’; all the contestants desiring to be crowned with the coveted title have to work for environmental and social causes and spread awareness.
