Isabella Bennett appointed Miss Earth US Virgin Islands 2020

Isabella Bennett was appointed the new Miss Earth US Virgin Islands 2020 just few hours ago and will represent the US Virgin Islands at Miss Earth 2020 stage. Isabella succeeded Miss Earth US Virgin Islands 2019 Talisha White for the crown and is very excited to be the part of Miss Earth family. She shared the news on her social media account by stating, “Never stop striving for your goals no matter how impossible they may seem.”  

Isabella is 25-years- old and stands at 167 cm tall and is a first-generation college graduate who attended the New York Institute of Art and Design where she received Dual Certificates in Wedding Planning and Event Planning in her family. Isabella belongs to several different nationalities including African American and Portuguese and was raised in a biracial household and has always identified as mixed race. She has always aspired to be a beauty queen who will try her best to change the world in her own ways. After completing her studies, Isabella aspire on taking a transfer to Excelsior College to finish her Bachelor of Science in Emergency/Disaster Management and Homeland Security.

The diva’s hope is to put her degrees and education to a good use by becoming an Emergency Coordinator or Environmental Planner for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). She has worked as an Audio-Visual Technician and Information Technology Associate for Gordon Research Conferences, a nonprofit organization who orchestrates prestigious international scientific conferences priorly. Over the course of four years Isabella has managed 140 international science conferences and had the opportunity to work with leading scientists from around the world, including several Nobel Prize Laureates.

Currently, Isabella works as a professional actress on movies and television shows that film in the United States. Since, childhood Isabella had the zeal and aspiration to protect and preserve our planet which is why she is one of the strongest contenders for the title. Being born into a coastal community and spending the first half of her life living on an island which gave her a profound sense of appreciation for the environment made her commit herself to work for the betterment of the environment.

In 2017 Isabella was trained by U.S Vice President Al Gore as a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading awareness of the climate crisis and working for solutions to the greatest challenge of our time. Since her training she has served as an official mentor within the organization to high school students across the United States. She is a trained public speaker and was invited to speak in Washington D.C in support of climate legislative protection in the USA back in 2018. The diva has been involved with the Miss Earth Organization for almost three years now and has earned the USA “Beauty for a Cause” award twice during her time competing at Miss Earth USA 2017. Throughout her beauty pageant career, she has won the “Miss Congeniality/ Friendship” award five times.  Isabella is currently residing on the mainland (Rhode Island) and looks forward to revisiting her Caribbean/African roots in two months as she highlights the U.S territories beautiful beaches and national park.

The diva is excited to be a part of Miss Earth pageant as she believes that this will help her to work on the things she has always aspired to do. With her positive attitude towards marking her own standing in the beauty pageant world and doing something for the environment, Isabella Bennett can emerge as a strong contender for the title of Miss Earth 2020. She has already started to prepare herself for the virtual coronation ceremony of Miss Earth 2020 which is scheduled to be held between 21st September to 29th November 2020.
