Marisa Paige Butler became the official representative of USA at Miss Earth 2021 as she was crowned Miss Earth USA 2021 on 17th January 2021 at the Linda Chapin Theater located in the Orange County Convention Centre, Orlando, Florida. The stunning beauty was a favourite for the title ever since the beginning of the competition.

Marisa does not need any introduction in the pageantry as her journey speaks for itself with all of her accomplishments. The 27-yaer-old stunner will get a last chance to represent her country at an international platform, and Miss Earth no less, due to age restrictions. Standing 173 cm tall, Marisa will be a force to be reckoned with at Miss Earth 2021.

Butler graduated from Stonehill College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Business. While at Stonehill College, Marisa was on the soccer, and lacrosse teams, as well as their club cheering team. She now is living and working in California and is of French, English, Scottish, Irish, and Native American (Mic Mac) heritage. In the spring semester of her junior year, Marisa studied abroad at Kings College in London. While abroad, Marisa walked in a London Fashion Week event, hiked to the top of Mt. Vesuvius at Pompeii, and traveled to eight European countries.

Before Marisa gained worldwide recognition as she represented USA at Miss World, she participated in various other smaller pageants. The diva began her pageantry career in 2011 representing Bonny Eagle in the Miss Maine Teen USA 2012 competition and was placed as first runner up. In 2016 when she participated and was crowned Miss Maine 2016 and represented Maine at the Miss USA 2016 pageant was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on 5th June 2016 but was unplaced.

Marisa then moved to San Diego, California where she competed for and won the title of Miss San Diego 2018, which was the organization's 100th anniversary. At Miss San Diego, she won the Interview Award, The Talent Award, and Miss Photogenic. She then went on to compete in the Miss California competition, where she won the Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit Preliminary award, and placed in the Top 15.

In 2018, Marisa was crowned as Miss World America 2018 and represented the United States at Miss World 2018 pageant in Sanya, China and finished at Top 30. From there, she began her international career in pageantry and now resides as one of the best pageant queens in the USA.

As Miss Earth USA 2021 delegate, her most noteworthy conservation effort was during her time as a volunteer for NOAA’s Corporative Shark Tagging Program. She now helps restore wildlife habitats in San Diego for the endangered California Least Terns. She has her own project #ServiceSaturday project which was her weekly volunteer day but is now an online movement that aims to get people to schedule time in their week to give back to their community by utilizing their unique skill sets and interest.

In one of her interviews she was asked why she wants to work for sharks, Marisa answered, “Not a lot of people view sharks as something that needs to be saved. Seventy to 100 million sharks are killed yearly, and people just don’t know about it. Everyone wants to save cute seals or puppies because they are cute and cuddly, they don't realize that sharks are important to save.”

Marisa is also a classically trained vocalist, model, and a conservationist. She is the perfect amalgamation of beauty and brains who has a tunnel vision towards dedicating her life for something good.
