Miss Earth Uganda 2016, Priscilla Achieng celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and made her dream change into reality by fulfilling the environmental advocacy which is Waste Management. The main thing she wants to do is to educate communities about appropriate waste dumping & Management.

Following the aims, she once again proved it by participating in the activities to promote positivity and love for nature around. She took part in planting, community clean-ups, school tour, exhibitions and environmental talks which will prove to be quite beneficial for promoting environmental good.

The best thing about the whole event was that how she gracefully made the day full of learning and to set some amazing lessons to learn. Miss Earth Uganda, national director Victoria Nabagereka along with Miss Earth Air Uganda addressed the guest of honour his majesty the king of tooro Dr oyo.

Miss Earth Uganda is a yearly pageant in Uganda and was created in 2014. They send Uganda’s representative to the Miss Earth pageant which is also a yearly International beauty pageant promoting environmental alertness around. It is one of the prestigious titles and works to maintain the ecological awareness around.

Priscilla Achieng won the title with her quick timing and talent which led her to win in the competition. Her focused mind and the will to do things in the favor of the society made it easier for her to walk the path of success. We want to congratulate her for keeping the spirits and the cause to uplift the welfare of people.
