The pageant powerhouse, Venezuela has reputedly won more than any other country in pageantry, with 23 victorious titles. Venezuela is also the first and only country to win all the four pageants multiple times, two of which have been at the Miss Earth competition.

The strong delegation of the country has helped it hold ten placements at Miss Earth over the past decade. For this year, the country is all set to send yet another power packed representative for the Miss Earth 2022 pageant. Will Venezuela win a third Miss Earth crown this year?

The country pioneered its Miss Earth win in 2005 when Alexandra Braun was crowned as the queen.The placement streak for the country began in the year 2011 when Caroline Medina represented Venezuela at Miss Earth 2011 and was crowned as Miss Earth Fire 2011, following her, Osmariel Villalobos ended in the Top 5 next year and was crowned Miss Earth Water 2012.

The country won its second crown when Alyz Henrich was crowned as the Miss Earth 2013. Venezuela then again placed among the Top 5 as Maira Alexandra Rodríguez was crowned as Miss Earth Water 2014 in the next edition.

Setting up a benchmark, Venezuelan beauties were then unstoppable at the Miss Earth pageant. Following the veterans, Andrea Rosales placed in the Top 8 finalists in 2015. Next year in 2016, Stephanie Ysabel won the Miss Earth Water title.

Continuing the placement among the Top 8, Yorbriele Ninoska Vásquez Álvarez and Diana Carolina Silva Francisco secured their finalist spot in 2017 and 2018 respectively. The only year the country missed qualification was in 2019.

Again in 2020, Stephany Karina Zreik Torres won the crown of Miss Earth Air 2020 with a successful Top 5 placement. Last year, María Daniela Velasco represented the country at the virtual Miss Earth pageant and secured a spot among the Top 8 finalists.

This year, Elizabeth Gasibo will represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2022. The stunning beauty is fluent in English and Spanish. She is also associated with 'Jonathan, an angel for Venezuela', which was founded in honor of her cousin, a young altruist who was a regular collaborator towards the neediest social groups in Venezuelan territory.

Not new to the pageant world, in 2015, she participated representing the Capital District in the Miss Teen Beauty Venezuela, where she obtained the position of 1st Runner-Up. Gasiba was a part of El Concurso by Osmel Sousa 2018, the first edition of the pageant, where she placed in the Top 13.

This year, Elizabeth is proving to be a strong contender for the title and is expected to bring home the third Miss Earth crown for Venezuela!
