Miss Eco International 2020 postponed after Covid-19 outbreak

Amidst the outbreak of Covid-19 all over the world, the 2020 edition of Miss Eco International has been postponed to avoid the spread of the disease. A lot of other national pageants all over the world have also been postponed because of the rising panic. Miss Eco International 2020 was initially supposed to begin on 23rd March 2020 with arrival of candidates.

Miss Eco International Organization took to their official social media to make their official announcement as it said, “For the safety of all participants and organizers and according to the instructions and decisions of the World Health Organization and the cabinet, Miss Eco International organization decided to postpone the competition. With our wishes for a lasting safety forall and the end of the crisis.”

The pageant was initially scheduled for 23rd March 2020 to 11th April 2020 in Egypt. New (tentative) schedule is from 26th May 2020 to 11th June 2020 with arrival of candidates and pre-pageant competitions to be held before the coronation night on 11th June 2020.

Last year, Suheyn Cipriani of Peru was crowned Miss Eco International 2019 and she will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. Miss Eco International 2020 will be the 6th edition of the international pageant which will be held in El Cairo, Egypt where more than fifty delegates will compete for the crown.
