Roberta Tamondong of Philippines crowned Miss Eco Teen International 2020

Miss Eco Teen International 2020 held its grand finale on 5th December 2020 in Hurghada, Egypt where Roberta Tamondong from Philippines was crowned the new queen. The stunning beauty made history as she became the first candidate from her country to win the crown. Roberta succeeds Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2019 Daenna Resurreccion.

Roberta has been a crowd’s favourite ever since the beginning of the competition. At the contest, she also won several awards such as the Best Eco Dress award for her multi-colored modern Filipiniana made of recycled plastic bags, rice sacks, and plastic beads. She also finished second runner-up in the Talent Competition for her ‘Luzviminda’ dance. In the Resort Wear Competition, she finished first runner-up to Miss South Africa.

 

 

The newly crowned Miss Eco Teen International 2020 Roberta Tamondong’s court included –

1st Runner-up - Jordan van Rensburg of South Africa

2nd Runner-up - Danielle Dolk of Netherlands

3rd Runner-up - Kenzy Elzeiny of Egypt

4th Runner-up - Cecilia Romero of Paraguay

Roberta had a successful 2019 in the pageantry as she is a pageant veteran of national and local competitions. She was crowned 2019 Binibining Quezon City, and 2019 Mutya ng San Pablo, and finished second in the 2019 Miss Bikini Philippines and 2019 Miss Teen Tourism Philippines pageants.

 

 

Miss Eco Teen International is the young counterpart to the Miss Eco International pageant that seeks to promote environmental awareness. Miss World Philippines organization holds official licensee in the Philippines.
