Verónica Mora Romero wins the National Costume Competition of Miss Ecuador 2021

Miss Ecuador 2021, 71st edition of Miss Ecuador, is going to host the finale on 11th September 2021 in Los Rios where the winner will represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2021, and the first Runner-up will compete at Miss International 2021. Leyla Espinoza from Los Ríos will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

The organization hosted the National Costume competition where the twenty stunning ladies walked on the stage in their traditional costumes showing their provinces’ tradition and culture. Just a few hours ago, they announced Verónica Mora Romero as the winner of the competition. The stunning beauty wore a costume titled ‘Pachamama, El Arte de la Diosa Madre’ designed by Jefferson Vera.

 

 

The dress is inspired by ‘Pachamama’, made by designer Jefferson Vera and will be worn by the new Ecuadorian sovereign at the current year's edition of the Miss Universe, to be held in Israel at the end of this year. The designer has been awarded with USD 1.500 creditor award for first place at the Manta Port Terminal - TPM.

 

 

The second place was awarded to Melane Rubio Estupinan who wore ‘Pachamama, La Madre Tierra’ costume designed by Benjamin Mafare while the third place was awarded to Betsabeth Heredia Heras as she wore ‘Ariq Kuri’ national costume designed by Andrea Segarra. Benjamin won 1000 dollars for his work while Andrea won 500 dollars for the stunning costume.
