Miss England 2018 contestants meet Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar

As the Miss England 2018 contestants prepare to compete for the crown, they received a pleasant surprise from the reigning Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar. Manushi joined Miss England 2018 finalists in the presentation of a £15,000 cheque from Miss England’s Beauty with a Purpose Program to a riding school for the disabled.

Miss World organization announced the surprise, on their official social media accounts, as they wrote “Manushi’s UK Surprise! Manushi Chhillar has begun her first ever Inter City Rail journey in the U.K. aboard the Virgin Trains 0843 departure from London Euston to Birmingham International. “I love trains - you get to see the countryside” said Manushi “it just goes by very fast!” Manushi is travelling to Resorts World to surprise the Miss England Finalists as they compete for the National title and a place at the 68th Miss World Final in Sanya on December 8th.

 

 

Once Manushi reached the event location, another video was uploaded to Miss World’s page revealing what the surprise was, as they wrote, “Surprise!!! Manushi steps in to join Miss England in the presentation of a £15,000 cheque from Miss England’s Beauty With A Purpose Program to a riding school for the disabled. Manushi’s visit to Resorts World Birmingham-was kept a secret from the Miss England contestants by Miss England Organiser Angie Beasley. “The ladies will be so happy to meet Manushi and see for themselves close up the Miss World Crown” said Angie.

“Beauty with a Purpose is shining in England. What a great impact they are making for Beauty With A Purpose. Manushi was joined in the cheque presentation by reigning Miss England Stephanie Hill. We are all so pleased that Manushi has taken the time to join us in Birmingham - especially me!! Well done to all the Miss England contestants for raising much need funds for this year’s Beauty with a Purpose projects and a big thank you to Angie Beasley and the Miss England team on taking the total charitable funds raised since they began over the £1 million mark!!” she finished.
