Lena Bröder crowned Miss Germany 2016

26 years old Lena Bröder has been crowned as the Miss Germany 2016 at the finals held on February 20’ 2016 at the Europa Park in Rust. Lena will now represent Germany at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant. At the same event, Francesca Orru was titled first runner-up, Katharina Schubert was adjudged second runner-up.

Lena defeated 23 other contestants to clinch the title, “It’s a dream come true,” these were the first words that Lena said after she was crowned. Usually, the Miss Germany Organisation doesn’t send its delegate to any international pageant, but this year the pageant took over the franchise of Miss Earth. MGC used to send delegates to Miss World in 1960’s & 1980’s. The Miss Earth Franchise was recently awarded to Miss Germany Corporation. Miss Germany was established in 1960 under the leadership of Horst Klemmer. Miss Germany headquarter is located in Oldenburg.

In addition to winning the crown of Miss Germany, and the right to represent Germany at the Miss Earth 2016, Lena also won jewelry, sports car and will be travelling to fulfill her duties as the Miss Germany.
