Larissa Dsouza to represent India at Miss Global 2021

The Miss Global organization has recently revealed that they will be hosting not one but two competitions this year, one virtual and one offline, where more than 80 delegates will represent their countries from all over the world to compete for the international title.

Larissa Dsouza, Miss Global India 2021 will represent India at the Miss Global 2021 pageant. The 22 year old diva is a professional model and stands 175cm tall. She speaks English, Hindi and Konkani fluently and currently resides in Dubai.

 

 

Not new to pageantry, the diva also made it to the Top 4 finalists of the International Top Model competition. “I’m extremely grateful to be representing India in this international pageant taking place in February. I assure to do my absolute best. This pageant started in 2013 and India hasn’t taken the trophy home yet, let’s change that in 2022 and bring victory to India,” the diva recently shared.

Larissa has started her professional modelling career and has already had the opportunity to walk for renowned designers like Michael Cinco and Dr Ruma Devi. She has also begun her online coaching for the international stint.

Sharing a special message she wrote, “The Miss Global platform helps empower women giving us a voice to speak up and make a difference. I’d like to tell all the young girls out there to follow their dreams no matter the obstacles, you have no idea what you could achieve with your consistency and hard work.”

Miss Global 2021 is now set to be a virtual gala from 25th February 2022 to 1st March 2022. The five-day event will consist of social media votes, letter/video of recommendation, preliminary interviews, photoshoots, among various other challenges. Starting from social media where each day a batch of candidates will be introduced over the official social media handles of the organization. The candidates will have to garner votes and likes over a span of two weeks.
