Miss Global Philippines 2023 Pearl Hung is ready to depart for Vietnam and Cambodia to compete at the 10th anniversary of Miss Global. The Vietnam’s schedule will begin with the contestants’ arrival in the country where all the pre-pageant activities upto the preliminary competition will be held.

With her journey beginning towards at the Miss Global 2023 crown, Pearl took to her official social media as she wrote, “We are now bound for Vietnam and Cambodia for Miss Global 2023! It’s almost the end of the year but we are now stepping onto a significant journey full of grace, love, dedication and passion. Starting off with this global journey entails a lot. With all the preparation, I know that we, Philippines, will shine bright!”

Pearl Hung’s story is remarkable; she has faced multiple hardships from a young age after losing her parents. She's an innovator in business systems, an advanced open water and free diver, a poet, and a composer of songs. Also, Hung is an accomplished author and has written two impactful books ‘The Breakthrough Book’ and ‘#PearlNotes Magical Insights of Awareness.’

If Pearl wins the Miss Global 2023 crown, she will achieve a back-to-back win for her country at Miss Global 2023. Miss Global 2022 Shane Tormes, also from Philippines, will crown her successor at the finale of the international pageant. Shane is a host, singer and advocate who has fulfilled her reigning responsibilities with sincerity and determination.

The coronation night of the 10-year anniversary of Miss Global will be held on 21st January 2024 in Cambodia. The pageant is hosting the 2023 edition in two countries this year because it’s the anniversary edition.
