Pearl Hung was officially designated as Miss Global Philippines 2023 at Novotel Manila Araneta City on 18th November 2023. Hung was crowned by Shane Tormes Miss Global 2022. Pearl hails from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, and is currently residing in Cebu.

Pearl Hung’s story is remarkable; she has faced multiple hardships from a young age after losing her parents. She's an innovator in business systems, an advanced open water and free diver, a poet, and a composer of songs. Also, Hung is an accomplished author and has written two impactful books ‘The Breakthrough Book’ and "#PearlNotes Magical Insights of Awareness.’

On a humanitarian ground, Pearl is an advocate for financial literacy education in the Philippines. The stunner has created an online marketing system that helps Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to reunite with their families, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and compassion. She has also mentored over a thousand individuals from various backgrounds, guiding them toward their aspirations.

On representing Philippines at an international platform, Pearl took to her official social media as she wrote, “To represent my country, is already an accomplishment for me, but I believe in the exponential effect that life can give us, and as we represent Philippines in a larger scale, I am aiming for an accomplishment to another accomplishment.”

Pearl Hung will now represent her country at Miss Global stage in Cambodia in January 2024.
