Mikaela-Rose Fowler was crowned Miss Grand Australia 2023 at the finale of the national competition held on Saturday, 15th July 2023 at the RACV City Club in Melbourne as she became the official representative of Australia at Miss Grand International 2023.

Mikaela-Rose Fowler is 28 years of age and a disability support worker by profession. She graduated in Communication Design and Marketing. Fowler used to work in real estate. Hailing from Victoria, born in a sea near the Australian city of Melbourne, Fowler spends a lot of time participating in outdoor sports such as skateboarding, exploring diverse terrains along the coast.

Fowler is an ADHD advocate. As a neurodivergent woman herself, she understands that this world wasn’t built for everyone, which is why she wants to use her title to inspire the world to show kindness to all and to always approach others with an open mind.

Fowler hopes to use her platform to help reduce the stigma around disability, to spread kindness and compassion, and to help other people who are experiencing their own struggles.

Fowler, on winning the crown, took to her official social media as she thanked everyone and wrote, “I’m so honoured to be your newly crowned Miss Grand Australia 2023. Thank you to all those involved in helping me achieve my dream. It takes an army to prepare for a pageant and I could not have done it without you all!”

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of Miss Grand International, is scheduled to be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
