The organization of Miss Grand El Salvador elected Luciana Marti´nez as the new Miss Grand El Salvador 2020 and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2020 stage which has been postponed until next year due to coronavirus. She is excited to take over the crown duties and has succeeded Miss Grand El Salvador 2019 Olga Maria Ortiz for the title.
Luciana is 21-years-old and stands 171 cm tall and is a student of Journalism and audio-visual communication, who used her qualities and intellect to get the desired crown. She is very excited to ne a part of Miss Grand International 2020 stage where she will be representing her home country.
Explaining about her love for modelling, she had mentioned that she never thought of getting into the world of pageantry because of the school and community she was born and raised into never allowed girls to get into modelling until they started going to college. But Luciana always aspired to be a beauty queen someday and after she enrolled into her college, she started working towards becoming one.
Luciana is not new to pageantry, she started working with various photographers and designers in El Salvador which helped her to gain some experience and she learnt the tips and techniques to perform better at the future beauty pageants. She describes herself as ambitious, disciplined and focused towards winning the title of Miss Grand International 2020. She was crowned Queen of El Salvador 2020 last year in October and was highly appreciated for her performance on-stage. After winning, she stated, “I was crowned Queen of El Salvador 2020 wearing the Miss San Salvador band, it is an immense happiness that I feel, being able to be a representative of our beautiful country. Thanks to each one of you who gave me your support”
The diva hopes to promote the development of children and young people during her reign. She explained in an interview that she loves to work for the children and with them. She is strong, confident, and focused towards what she wants in her life and right now that is the title of Miss Grand International 2020.
Luciana had mentioned that if there is a message that she’d like to give to young girls that it would be the fact that there is no one who knows you better than yourself so work hard, train yourself and go get those dream fulfilled. She thanked her family and friends who had supported her and motivated her throughout. She explained that after being a queen her life has surely changed but her values and traditions have taught her to be grounded always.
The diva strongly believes that beauty pageants have empowered women to speak their hearts and minds out to a massive audience and she feels lucky that she gets to be a part of the same process. She is strong and determined towards performing her best on-stage and impressing everyone with her charming and attractive personality.
