Fátima Calderón was crowned Miss Grand El Salvador 2023 at the inaugural edition of the national pageant held on 29th July 2023 at the FEPADE Theater, San Salvador. Since then, she has been preparing to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2023.

Fatima represented the department of La Libertad at the contest. She is 24 years of age who holds a degree in International Relations. Fatima is the daughter of Billy Calderón, one of the faces of ‘Viva la mañana’.

Fatima also has extensive experience in catwalks and modeling. Not new to the pageantry, Fatima participated in El Salvador in 2021 in Reinado del El Salvador to compete for Miss Universe El Salvador 2021 but unfortunately didn’t win. But the pageant definitely helped her in gaining great experience.

On winning the national crown, Fatima took to her official social media as she wrote, “You deserve everything great that makes you grow, God would not have given you the ability to dream without also giving you the possibility of turning your dreams into reality. I started the CNB 2024 with great enthusiasm. I met spectacular women to whom I wish success in all the way that remains in this great organization, I will always follow their path and I will be their partner, learning from each one of you. Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of Miss Grand International, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
