Miss Grand Ghana organization, through the official social media, announced the appointment of Kitava Yvettlana Fosuaa Amankwaa as the new Miss Grand Ghana 2023. Kitava will now represent Ghana at Miss Grand International 2023.

Kitava Yvettlana Fosuaa Amankwaa is half Thai-Ghanaian-Cambodian born in Bangkok and grew up in Sisaket Province. She was raised in a Khmer-Thai family. Unfortunately, she lacked educational opportunities and found it difficult to further her education which inspired her to support education now that she has the means to do it.

Kitava is one of those people who pushes for equality in education. She studied exclusively in Fashion Design and now works as a fashion designer, beauty queen, model, speech and model coach. She aspires to grow and inspire people.

Not new to the pageant world, Kitava is the winner of Best Introduction award in Miss Grand Thailand 2023 and placed Top 20. She was also Top 7 in Miss Grand Rising Star 2023. She is also the winner of Miss Grand Krabi 2023 and received the Best Speech award from the Miss Grand Suphanburi and Miss Grand Chachoengsao.

As Miss Grand Ghana 2023, Kitava’s goal is to push for equality in education and encouraging people to dare to follow their dreams. Kitava will now prepare to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2023.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
