Looking Hawwtt, ladies! 80 contestants hit the ramp for the 2015 Miss Grand International pageant as they took part in the “Best in Swimsuit” (the highly-anticipated swimsuit) competition, held at the Kacha Resort and Spa poolside, Koh Chang.  They were judged strictly on the figure category, and the winner – to be announced on the grand final on October 25th – will bestow with the Best in Swimsuit award. 

All beauties were wearing bikinis by MGI’s, (Miss Grand International) official swimsuit collection, which is also for sale on their website.

Most contestants were doubtful and nervous about their walk and posing, being overshadowed by those with runway experience. But as the runway show went on, the crowd continued to remain engaged, cheering the contestants on as they confidently owned the stage.

Unlike previous years, the Top 20 finalists of Best in Swimsuit were not announced, to preserve the surprise until the live telecast.

It is hard to pinpoint a winner at this point, but there is a group of favorites that have started to dominate the competition. They are misses India, Philippines, Japan, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Australia and the Netherlands, fighting for the top spots.  Of course they are not the only ones shining, however, they have been consistent in all events throughout the pageant.  A second strong group includes contestants from Poland, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Cuba, Spain, Mongolia, Wales, Ukraine and Portugal.  But as the days go by, more stunners surprise the competition during the events.

Miss Grand Kurdistan (Leyli Chupani) decided to leave the competition voluntarily claiming personal issues, so as of today she is no longer part of the pageant.
