Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien has finally kick started her Latin tour after a minor postponement due to her being tested positive for Covid-19 earlier. The diva is currently in Lima, Peru with Mr. Nawat, Director of the Miss Grand International organization.

For her first day, the queen was greeted by the media accompanied by Jessica Newton, president and national director of Miss Peru organization. Nguyen also did the honours of crowning Miss Grand Peru 2022 Janet Leyva in an intimate ceremony. The queen along with the Miss Peru organization also attended a meet and greet conference followed by a gala night to experience the Peruvian cuisine.

On her second day of the tour, Tien graced her participation in a mission to provide food for people and distributing books and necessities to children as the team visited Villa Mosha in Jicamarca. “Such an amazing day for me! I never thought I could have a chance you come to this place and meet these incredible people,” Tien shared.

She further added, “They struggle for living and still try their best to overcome all the bad conditions such as lack of education, water, electricity, food. They have 3 women cook for 80 families because they don’t have kitchen in their house. I have learnt a lot of things today. Thank you so so much. Muchos Gracias Lima”

The reigning queen along with Mr. Nawat will be travelling and visiting across South America as Tien is scheduled to crown new queens of Peru, Colombia and Ecuador in her first tour as Miss Grand International 2021.
