All about Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien’s grand homecoming

Creating history by becoming the first ever Vietnamese to win the coveted Miss Grand International 2021 crown, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien is finally back home and was welcomed with a warm and grand homecoming ceremony organized in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The stunning diva arrived in Danang and quarantined for 3 days before the grand event. The diva has already started her reigning responsibilities in Thailand last month as she was invited and crowned various state winners for Miss Grand Thailand 2022.

The celebrations began with the queen’s visit with representatives of The Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in Hanoi, followed by her homecoming parade next day. Nguyen was welcomed by a sea of fans as she stepped out to get in the car for her parade. The diva was visibly emotional and overwhelmed by the amount of love and support being showered on her.



The grand honouring ceremony saw a packed auditorium cheering and celebrating the historical win of the beauty. During the event, the newly crowned queen also revealed that she has officially adopted 15 children from foster care who lost their parents due to COVID-19 pandemic and will be supporting them until they turn 18 years old.

The diva then changed into a beautiful silver-black ombre gown as she attended the party which was granced by many known aces from the pageant industry including former beauty queens and supermodels who came along to congratulation and celebrate the lady of the night.



Nguyen is a 23 year-old Hospitality management student and is also Vatel Vietnam Investor and Co-founder of Adopt’ Vietnam. Nguyen focuses on her motto ‘Never regret. Keep moving forward’ and always tries to find silver lining in every situation even after all the neglect in her life. The diva definitely has some big things in store for her country as well as the title she beholds as she ventures onto the next chapter of her life.
