Miss Grand International organization is all set to host the 10th anniversary edition of the international pageant which will be a very special occasion. The organization’s president Nawat Itsaragrisil took it upon himself to make the surprising announcement at the finals of 2021 edition held in December last year.

Miss Grand International 2022, the 10th anniversary edition, will be held on 25th October 2022 in Indonesia. Moreover, adding to the anniversary edition, the organization today announced through their social media about adjusting the age restrictions.

“Official announcement, The eligible age ranges requirements has been adjusted by Miss Grand International board decision slightly to be between 18-28 years old”, the organization wrote. The news has been received well by the national directors as it will give more chance to the divas to give it a go at the competition.

Vietnam made history as Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên was crowned Miss Grand International 2021 in December last year. Vietnam held only one major international title (Miss Earth 2018) before Tiên made her country proud. Meanwhile, Andrea Aguilera of Ecuador, Lorena Rodrigues of Brazil, Vivianie Diaz Arroyo of Puerto Rico, Jeane Van Dam of South Africa were adjudged first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
