The organization of Miss Grand Korea crowned Hyunyoung Lee as the new Miss Grand Korea 2020 in and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2020 stage which has been postponed until next year due to coronavirus.  She is excited to take over the crown duties and has succeeded Miss Grand Korea 2019 Serim Park for the title.

Hyunyoung Lee is 22-years-old and stands 173 cm tall and was elected as the new queen in the month of August. She is excited to represent Korea at Miss Grand International 2020 stage and believes that she can perform her best at the competition and make the people of Korea proud.

After winning the title, Hyunyoung took to her social media to thank everyone for being supportive and motivating towards her win at the competition. She also mentioned that she is very grateful for everyone who helped her during the competition which she never thought she can win. The diva explained that it was first beauty pageant she was a part of and had so many thoughts while preparing for the pageant. She further added, “During camp training, there were times when I collapsed mentally and physically, but it seems that I overcame it by relying on each other and helping each other. You really have a lot of trouble.”

The diva is strong, dedicated, and focused towards performing her best at the competition and making the people of Korea proud. She is beautiful, intelligent, and even though Miss Grand Korea 2020 was her first pageant, she was able to impress the judges and the audience with her performance.

Hyunyoung is looking forward to meet the delegates from all over the world and perform together with them on-stage. She feels that every candidate representing their respective country will bring in some special quality and she’d like to know about that in order to grow and learn more. She is positive, humble, and kind in nature which is why she is able to befriend people easily and is looking forward to the competition scheduled to held next year.

The diva strongly believes that beauty pageants have empowered women to speak their hearts and minds out to a massive audience and she feels lucky that she gets to be a part of the same process. She is strong and determined towards performing her best on-stage and impressing everyone with her charming and attractive personality.
