The 2023 edition of Miss Grand Nicaragua, i.e. Miss Grand Nicaragua 2023, was held on 24th May 2023 at Holiday Inn Managua - Convention Center where Glennys Medina was crowned the new queen as she became the official representative of Nicaragua at Miss Grand International 2023.

Glennys Medina is a graduate in Diplomacy and International Relations. As for her humanitarian causes, she gives talks in schools about cyber bullying, self-esteem, love and respect and empowerment talks to women in her community in Guanacaste, as well as in Nicaragua. She has worked with various non-profit organizations and created a soccer team for the youth of La Chureca few years ago.

Glennys Medina, of Costa Rican descent, also represented Costa Rica in the 58th edition of Miss International held in 2018. In 2014, she participated in Miss World Nicaragua. In 2016, she was Miss Tourism Nicaragua and represented the country in Miss International Tourism. She was the queen of Café Costa Rica 2018 in Colombia, and Miss Eco International 2018 in Egypt where she managed to put herself as the third finalist. She also competed in Miss Costa Rica 2020 and Miss Nicaragua 2021 where she was adjudged first runner-up.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International, is scheduled to be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
