Ramina Ashfaque was appointed as Miss Grand Pakistan 2021 a few hours ago and will represent the country as a newcomer at the Miss Grand International pageant this year. The Miss Bangladesh US organization also announced her appointment as they shared, “Excited to announce that the Miss Bangladesh US organization has joined with Miss Grand International to bring you Miss Grand Pakistan. We are hopeful that you support our newest queen on her journey to the Miss Grand International crown this fall in Thailand!”
The Pakistani beauty is a registered nurse and throughout the pandemic has been committed to saving the lives of people. She is also a former model/ beauty queen holding more than five titles. Her professional model/ pageant experience consists of walking the runway, appearing in publications, and hosting large scale events.
Ramina is a 28 years-old diva standing at 168cm, hailing from Karachi, Pakistan. She is currently working as registered nurse in Miami, Florida and can speak fluent English and Urdu. Not new to pageantry, Ramina represented Pakistan at Miss World 2017 and gave an impressive performance throughout with her stunning personality.
While she first pursued a degree in Broadcast Communications at Florida International University, she realised her true passion lied in modelling and fashion. Ramina first started beauty pageants in 2014. The Pakistani model quickly earned a name for herself as she became Runner-Up in the Miss India Florida 2014 pageant.
Her first experience with Miss Pakistan World came in 2015, where she only succeeded as runner-up. She has carried the message that, “I want to give hope and confidence to little girls around the world that you can do whatever you aspire to,” throughout her journey so far.
The newly appointed national director for Miss Grand Pakistan, Hiam Amani also took to her social media to share, “So excited to officially announce that I have joined the Miss Grand International family as the National Director for Pakistan! It is an honor to be continuing my pageant journey in a new light with one of the largest pageants in the world! Please show all your love and support to my stunning and gorgeous new Miss Grand Pakistan Ramina Ashfaque!”
Ramina currently has more than 100k followers on the biggest social platform, TikTok. She now also writes for health and beauty advice in a beauty magazine. She has a strong social following and is extremely committed to upholding and celebrating Pakistani heritage and culture and serving as a face of representation for her people at the international platform.
