Miss Grand Paraguay 2022, the 5th edition of the Miss Grand Paraguay pageant was held on 7th May 2022 at  Hotel Guaraní in the city of Asunción, Paraguay, where 17 candidates from all over the country competed for the national title. At the end of the event, Agatha León was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss Grand Paraguay 2021 Andrea Jimena Sosa Martinez for the crown.

Miss Grand Paraguay 2022 Agatha León’s court includes –

Viceroy – Nayeli Portillo of Asunciona

First runner-up – Ailin Adorno of Fernando de la Mora

Second runner-up – Milenha Montania of Luque

Third runner-up – Lorena Roman of Minga Guazu

“Today I am Paraguay before the world and they don't know how happy and proud it makes me, it's incredible how we can achieve everything we set out to do if we dedicate ourselves to what we long for so much. Happy to be part of the family,” the diva shared.

Hailing from Cuidad del Este, department of Alto Paraná, 20 years-old Agatha stands 175cm tall and is a Marketing student, working as a model and influencer. The slogan used this year was, “No to all types of violence" and the Esteña was the woman chosen to carry a universal message against all types of aggression.

Last year, Jimena represented the country at Miss Grand International 2021 where she was highly appreciated for her journey but finished unplaced. The newly crowned queen, Agatha will be representing Paraguay at the 10th Miss Grand International pageant scheduled to be held in October in Bali, Indonesia.
