Indy Johnson was crowned Miss Grand Pathumthani 2020 on 19th July 2020 and will now represent the province at Miss Grand Thailand 2020. She is 23-years-old and stands 175 cm tall and has graduated with a degree from Bangkok University. She loves herself when she is on-stage and believes that her confidence boosts up when is walking on-stage. She is very excited and feels honored to be able to represent her province at Miss Grand Thailand 2020.
After winning the crown and an opportunity to represent her province at Miss Grand Thailand 2020, Indy posted a gratitude post on her social media account thanking everyone who was involved in making her win possible. She mentioned that she will work hard, develop herself everyday and make everyone who has supported her proud. She feels blessed and thankful for all the opportunities she has received till now and believes that she will be able to work hard to be on the top.
Indy is not new to the pageantry as she participated in The Face Thailand Season 2 but unfortunately, didn’t make it to the final rounds. She was appreciated for her confidence and strong personality by the mentors and fellow contestants during her stint at The Face Thailand 2. She likes to play basketball and spend her time outdoors as she likes to meet new people and know about their respective culture, traditions, and values. The diva is very close to her family and friends and believes that they have been a the most motivated cheerleader she could have asked for her career.
Indy works as a professional model and has collaborated with various designers and brands in Thailand in order to gain some experience as well as knowledge about beauty pageants. She strongly believes that until and unless one works very hard, it is not possible to achieve those dreams and goals one has dreamt off. Indy is a strong supporter and advocate of self-love as well as women empowerment. Being dark-skinned, she has also tried to minimize the discussion over the skin tones in the beauty and fashion world through her social media posts. She has always tried to uplift the women especially the young girls who are looking for a role model to inspire them and motivate them to take steps for their future. Indy wants to be a positive and impactful role model for women who look up to and she has always tried to be positive and humble towards everyone.
Indy has already started to prepare herself for the finale event which is to be held in September, as she is reading and learning about the current affairs in the world for the communication and interview round at the competition. She is also training for her walk-on stage, posing on stage, body angles, body postures, and maintaining her mental space and confidence on-stage. She also likes to dress up and experiment with makeup which can be an advantage for her during the pageant. Indy is a fitness enthusiast and spends her free time working out in the gym and sometimes outdoors too. She has developed the desire to stay healthy and fit and working on herself gives her confidence and motivates her to push her strengths.
With her positive attitude towards winning and just participating at the competition, Indy Johnson can emerge as a strong contender for the title and represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2020 stage. The coronation ceremony of Miss Grand Thailand 2020 will be hosted on 19th September 2020 at the original Bitec Bangna Hall where the delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Thailand in Miss Grand International 2020.
