Anronet Roelofsz has been crowned Miss Grand South Africa 2020 on 29th August 2020 at a virtual event and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2020. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Miss Grand South Africa 2019 Belinde Bella Schreuder at the end of the virtual ceremony. Belinde was the first representative from South Africa to reach the Top 20 placement at Miss Grand International.
Anronet is 26-years-old and stands 180 cm tall. She is a professional model with a degree of Bachelors in Fashion Business Management. She is also an entrepreneur who currently works as a fashion business owner, stylist, and a real-estate agent at Urban Property Group SA and she has a huge passion for people, animals, fashion, and beauty.
The diva is not to pageantry as she was a part of Miss Supranational South Africa 2019 where she was highly appreciated and prior to that she was adjudged as the second-runner-up at Top Model of the world 2014. She is strong, focused, and determined to win the title for her country. She speaks Afrikaans, English, and Deutsch languages fluently.

After winning the crown, she took to her social media and mentioned, “I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone for the love and support you have shown me and for getting me into the next stage. I am going to give it my best and use this opportunity to my fullest ability. What Miss Grand represents is something I truly believe in, to try end the war and violence and promote peace and hope is a cause close to my heart so I look forward to making a difference even if it is in the smallest way possible and I am so ready to take up space and make South Africa and the Miss Grand South Africa organisation proud.”
Anronet is a very positive and humble human who believes that people who want to achieve bigger things in life should find a way to stay positive and focused towards their goals and not pay heed to the society. She had mentioned, “Stop worrying about other people understanding you. Get in touch with yourself instead. Focus on what makes you happy, what makes your soul at peace.” The diva also advocates about self-love and mentions that it’s time that not only women but everyone should accept their flaws, awkwardness, weirdness, intensity, vulnerability, and everything to embrace them. “Life becomes so much more fulfilling when you are just simply yourself. The world keeps spinning whether people understand you or not so why not make this next trip around the sun about you. For you,” she added.
The diva is excited to represent South Africa at Miss Grand International 2020 stage and believes that she will be able to perform her best at the stage. She is also looking forward to using the platform to advocate about the things she believes in and becoming a positive and humble role model for the people.
