The 56th edition of Miss India i.e. Miss India 2019 is on the road to crown the new queen as the finale of the pageant is all set to take place next month at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai. The coronation night will witness divas from all around India competing for the national crown and the opportunity to represent India in Miss World 2019 pageant.
The journey of the pageant has already begun with a full swing as all the contestants are busy with their community visits and tours. Recently all the beauties arrived at Bennett University for the Sports Day Challenge where the beauties reminisced their school and college days as the event comprised of various challenges such as Basketball challenge, Table Tennis challenge, Badminton Challenge, Miss Active challenge, Iron Maiden challenge and Swimming challenge. All the beauties competed well in the various challenges and secured various medals at the conclusion.

The Top 2 Finalists selected for the Basketball challenge were Miss India Jammu and Kashmir 2019 Megha Kaul and Miss India Delhi 2019 Mansi Sehgal who played absolutely well. Apart from this, Miss India Jharkhand 2019 Chitrapriya Singh and Miss India Telangana 2019 Sanjana Vij were selected as the Top 2 finalists for the Badminton challenge.
At the sports day event, various medals were presented to the beauties for their wonderful performances such as for the Basketball challenge, Miss India Jammu and Kashmir 2019 Megha Kaul won the medal for Miss Hooper, Miss India Telangana 2019 Sanjana Vij won Miss Smasher for the Badminton challenge. Also, Miss India Uttarakhand 2019 Siddhi Gupta won the medal for Miss Athlete (Athletics), Miss India Delhi 2019 Mansi Sehgal won the medal for Miss Water Baby for Swimming competition and Miss India Andhra Pradesh 2019 Nikita Tanwani won the medal for Miss Top Spin for the Table Tennis challenge.
The event was a huge success as all the beauty queens performed impeccably showcasing their athletic skills and the event went well with poise. These queens will now represent their respective states at the gala night which will take place on 15th June 2019, where Anukreethy Vas of Tamil Nadu will crown her successor Miss India World 2019, Meenakshi Chaudhary of Haryana and Gayatri Bharadwaj of New Delhi will also crown their respective successors at the end of the event.
