The world famous 100 Most Beautiful Faces Listis published annually by TC Candler and the Independent Critics since 1990. The contest crowns themost beautiful stars of the year, through the vote of the public through social networks. The TC Candler organization describes that aesthetic perfection is only one of the criteria of a beautiful face but,grace, elegance, originality, daring, passion, class, poise, joy, promise, and hope are all embodied in a beautiful face. With those criteria in mind, TC Candler and the members select only 100 faces out of thousands of the female celebrities across the globe. The list attempts to inform & broaden public opinion instead of reflecting it.
The very gorgeous Miss Indonesia International 2019 Jolene Marie Cholock Rotinsulu has been announced as an official nominee to compete for a position on the annual list of ‘The 100 Most Handsome Faces’ organized by the media ‘TC Candler & The Independent Critics’.
Jolene represented Indonesia at Miss International 2019 on 12th November2019 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Bunkyo district, Tokyo, Japan. She was placed at Top 8 at the end of the event finale and was appreciated for her strong and impactful performance on-stage. Jolene is an Indonesian-American International Paralympics Games committee member and disability rights activist. She is also a television actress, a singer, a young entrepreneur, mountaineer, and a beauty pageant titleholder.
The diva is a Disability rights activist who advocates for the elderly and people with disabilities, she built her own Nursing home care called "Saya Bisa", located in her hometown in Manado, that helped disabled elderly people with the movement of "1001 wheelchairs" and other physical disability support equipment. She also helped to develop the elderly skills with a project called "Du’Anyam", a forum to empower mothers and fathers to increase financial income by raising the culture of "weaving". The diva is very active in participating or volunteering in social activities and in 2018, Jolene became part of the organizing committee of the 2018 Asian Games for Disabilities.
Jolene is also an advocate for environmental and social issues in Indonesia. Along with the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia, Jolene is involved with local NGO Rumah Karya Sahabat Anak Grogol, supporting free education for the homeless and street children in Grogol District, Jakarta.
Jolene became the only and the first representative of the Indonesian Princess as Inspirational Speaker at the UN event, International United Nations Global Landscape Forum, New York City - United States. In her speech, Jolene spoke about awareness about the important role of the community. Jolene believes that a green earth will be realized with a generation. The generation that maintains and chooses the sustainability of the earth by adopting an environmentally friendly lifestyle by not using disposable plastic, one of which. To support the action, Jolene created a campaign with the Green Earth with Green Generation tag line.
Jolene is beautiful, confident, and focused on her goal. Even though she missed a chance to win the title of Miss International 2019, she was considered as one of the strongest contenders during the pageant. She is positive, hopeful, and humble who believes that when you do good, you receive good. Her start for working for the elderly has brought her some of the most eye-opening experiences in life for which she is grateful. She strongly believes that meeting new people whether elderly or younger would give one a different perspective towards life and that’s what she aims for.
