12 Dec 2023 | Priya Bhardwaj

The 51st Miss Intercontinental will be held on 15th December 2023 at Sunrise Remal Resort, in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt where Miss Intercontinental 2022 Lê Nguyen Bao Ngoc of Vietnam will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

With more than fifty delegates currently competing for Miss Intercontinental 2023 crown, meet the front-runners in our opinion who have the most chances for clinching the crown (in no particular order) –

Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat representing Thailand

Born and raised in Kamphaeng Phet province, Chatnalin Chotjirawarachat is proud of various cultures and traditions of her country. Not new to the pageantry, Chatnalin represented Prachuap Khiri Khan at Miss Universe Thailand 2023 where she was adjudged as the third runner-up at the end of the event finale.

Through her voice of change, she unveiled the grim reality of ocean pollution and shed light on the dire impact of irresponsible consumption, highlighting the urgent need for a paradigm shift towards sustainable living. Nalin has impressed everyone with her dressing style, her strong personality and humanitarian causes.

Migleth Cuevas representing Venezuela

Migleth Cuevas will compete for the sixth Miss Intercontinental crown. Her beauty, her humility, her charisma, her elegance and her intelligence makes her a strong contender for the international crown. Not new to the pageantry, Migleth Cuevas was also adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss Venezuela 2021.

Iona Gibbs representing Philippines

Iona is a Filipino-Canadian beauty queen who was born in San Juan City. Her family moved to Canada when she was 2. She grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, but her family moved around a lot growing up. Iona finished her elementary education in Canada and then moved back to the Philippines in 2015 where she finished high school at MIT International School in Alabang. Iona is currently completing her degree at DLSU, specifically Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science, major in Organizational and Social Systems Development.

Patricia Seward representing Canada

Patricia Seward is 26 years of age and stands 173 cm tall. Patricia has studied luxury fashion abroad at Bocconi University, Milan, and sustainable operations and marketing at Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business.

She is a Management Professional in Marketing and Sustainability. Seward found a fashion website in 2020 and started her ‘Future Fashion Initiative’ which empowers women with tools to dress their best and increase their confidence while taking into account the sustainability impacts of their fashion choices.

Mare Salas representing Colombia

Mare Salas is 28 years of age and stands 181 cm tall. A fluent speaker of English and Spanish, Salas is definitely another strong contender for the crown as she has shown her capabilities at the pre-pageant activities being held before the finale. The Colombian beauty is surely a strong contender with her stunning face and charming personality.
