The 49th edition of Miss Intercontinental, i.e., Miss Intercontinental 2021, is scheduled to take place at the Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt on 29th October 2021, where stunning delegates from all over the world will compete against each other for the coveted crown. Miss Intercontinental 2019, Fanni Mikó, from Hungary, will crown her successor at the end of the event.
The organization of Miss Intercontinental Panama announced Marycarmen Go´mez Rujano as the official representative of Panama at Miss Intercontinental 2021. Marycarmen is 23-years-old. She is currently studying Civil Engineering at the Technological University of Panama. She thanked the organization for believing and trusting her with the title.
Marycarmen is no stranger to beauty pageants as she has competed in several national competitions in her country since she was 15-years-old. She was crowned Miss La Chorrera 2018 and works as a youth activist and volunteer for the Huellas de Amor movement. She loves to read, listen to music, watch documentaries and be in contact with nature. The beauty queen does her bit to make the people of her community smile and feel safe and is appreciated for her kind and humble nature.
In one of her posts on social media, she mentioned, "These are difficult times, but they are also times of opportunity, an opportunity to help, to have empathy, and to be supportive. The needs of our people are on the surface, basic things, minimal, they do not have them. " This showcases how kind and loving Marycarmen is from her heart, who is always looking out for people in need.
As part of her preparation, she is taking acting classes at the Ground Floor Art Studio, catwalk, English, and Oratory, among others. She is described as dedicated and committed to her work, which is to represent the country at Miss Intercontinental 2021 with the utmost honesty and respect. She is going to start her preparations for the competition to impress everyone in the audience and the judging panel. The diva believes in working hard and staying focused on her goals, and she has encouraged the youth of her country to do the same, especially the young girls who wish to be a part of a beauty pageant someday.
Marycarmen is excited about taking on a new role in her life and feels honored to be able to represent the country with pride on an international platform. She is beautiful, dedicated, and confident in herself and her preparations. With her experience in the modeling and fashion world, she could emerge as a strong contender for the crown and win it for Panama. She is very proud of her country and is looking forward to representing the true Panama on stage.
